Ashiana is pleased to announce the launch of a seminar series for 2023 to support refugee, asylum seeker and humanitarian communities in Western Australia.

The first seminar will be held on Thursday 16 February 2023 at the Herb Graham Multicultural Centre in Mirrabooka. Details can be found below.

The topic will be ‘A refugee’s pathway to a peaceful home’ and will focus on legal and migration pathways. We have chosen this topic to address a number of enquiries we have received since our Community Day in October.

Our speakers who have generously donated their time to this event include Associate Professor Mary Anne Kenny, and representatives from Law Access, Estrin Saul and Circle Green Community Legal.

We will post further details of the event via our website, www.ashiana.org.au. We have also prepared a translated version of our flyer in Pashto which is available below.

Please feel free to circulate this to your networks, particularly those who may benefit from having this information.

If you are able to come, please confirm by emailing info@ashiana.org.au. Please also email us if you are interested in volunteering or contributing in any way to the event, or would like to submit any queries in advance for the consideration of our speakers.

Please note that the session will not involve the provision of legal and migration advice in any particular case, and will be general in nature. You can view our full disclaimer in the English version of our flyer below.

We look forward to welcoming you there.
