Ashiana Humanitarian Network is pleased to announce its second women’s workshop will be held in partnership with United in Diversity WA on Saturday, 3 August 2024 at the Victoria Park Community Centre, 248 Gloucester St East Victoria Park, from 10am to 3pm.

After the success of our first workshop held on 4 May 2024, we have been approached by groups seeking to join with us to present a bigger and better event bringing multicultural, refugee and humanitarian communities of women together to explore opportunities for economic independence. Together with United in Diversity WA, we have developed a program focusing on education, employment and business development, and what social security supports are available along the way to independence.

You can find further details and register for this FREE event via TryBooking: https://www.trybooking.com/CSDUY.

Like our first workshop, this second workshop has only been possible with the generous support of the WA Department of Communities as part of their Women’s Grants for a Stronger Future.

We are also grateful for the support of organisations including Dress for Success WA, North Metropolitan TAFE, Resolve Legal Solutions, Welfare Rights & Advocacy Service, W Campbell & Associates, and Victoria Park Community Centre in bringing this second workshop to life.

We will publish a detailed program closer to the date but the event promises to be packed with useful information and opportunities for conversation. Light refreshments and music will also be provided, so come along and learn about access to support and your pathway to economic security while building social connections.

We look forward to welcoming you!
